Living in the Midwest, I am no stranger to cold weather; and being a somewhat beauty blogger, I am no stranger to lip products. Especially winter lip products. In fact, I swear I think I have at least twenty-five lip balms in my arsenal. So today I am sharing my FAVORITE winter lip products!
1. Mario Badescu Lip Balm
I may have a crap-ton of lip balms in my possession, but the Mario Badescu lip balm is a new one that I added, and I fell in love with. It has coconut oil and other skin soothers that make my lips feel amazing!
2. Farmacy Honey Savior
Being a mom, wife, grad student, full-time worker.... I need a good multitasker. The honey savior is an all-in-one multitasking beauty of a product. I use it on my cuticles, lips, hands... everywhere that is dry. Even my elbows occasionally.
3. Bite Beauty Agave Sugar Lip Scrub
I am a huge fan of lip scrubs, especially lip scrubs that smell and taste good! I don't use them every night, but when I do, this one makes my lips super soft. I linked the actual product above, but if you are in the market for a similar (cheaper) lip scrub, then the products are linked here.
4. Fresh Sugar Advanced Therapy Lip Treatment
I fist started using the advanced therapy lip treatment a few years ago (it was in a little lip balm pot) and have never looked back. It's hydrating, can cure the driest of lips, and as a bonus, makes lips plumper.
5. Bite Beauty Lip Mask
Hydration with a sheer bit of color, this lip mask is hardly a mask at all. Well, it's too pretty to waste at night! Not only does it go on thick for a hydrating factor, but it is not sticky and looks so pretty.
6. Dr. Lipp Original Nipple Balm
Don't let the name fool you, the Dr. Lipp balm is a heavy hitting multitasker. With over 100 uses, the natural balm is made from Lanolin (a byproduct of sheered sheep's wool) and is gentle enough for a baby's bottom. The Nipple Balm comes in clear and a few sheer tints.
7. Burt's Bees Original Lip Balm with Peppermint and Vitamin E
The OG of lip balms, Burt's Bees lip balm is something that every gal has in their arsenal. In fact, I think I have like three or four "flavors".
What are your FAVORITE lip products for winter? Have you tried any of mine?
I LOVE the Burt's Bees...I use it faithfully in the winter here in snowy and cold PA!!! It is reasonably priced too!!
