I stopped doing my monthly beauty favorites about mid 2016 for a few reasons: a lot of my products that I had discovered in previous months had become part of my beauty routine, so it would be redundant to tell you guys about them EVERY month, and I really wasn't buying any new beauty products. One of my goals for 2017 is to bring back my monthly favorites, as I want to discover at least 3 new beauty products a month, because to be honest, it's fun!
In January, I discovered a great nail, a new all natural shampoo/conditioner company, and some really helpful makeup.
Orly Tough Cookie Nail Strengthener
Each week I have been giving myself a manicure and the one thing that helps make my nail polish look ah-mazing is this strengthener from Orly. It helps the polish last, keeps away chips, and looks so shiny!

Maui Moisture Thicken & Restore + Bamboo Fiber Shampoo
After doing research on what would make my thin hair grow, I decided to try find some Aloe juice. Apparently it's supposed to make my thin hair thick, and help with damage. When I saw this shampoo at Walgreens, I was intrigued. It's from a cruelty-free and vegan company, and uses all natural ingredients. I decided to grab it, and haven't looked back. After a few weeks of using it, I can tell a difference in the amount of hair that comes out in the shower and my hair doesn't feel weighed down.

When I picked up the shampoo, I couldn't resist grabbing a conditioner too. I tend to have breakage and frizziness, so when I saw that the conditioner was supposed to smooth and repair, I was all for it. At first use, I realized that less is more. Overall, I love the conditioner: how my hair smells, the smoothing, and how it feels, but if I use too much, then my hair tends to get weighed down.

This stuff smells so good that I want to eat it. It's compact in a "lipstick" like tube, so the mess is minimal, and features Vitamin E, Shea Butter, Avocado, Grape and Jojoba Oils. It exfoliates my wind chapped winter lips and leaves them feeling ah-mazing.

e.l.f. Eye Primer and Liner Sealer
I had been looking for an eye primer that wouldn't irritate my eyes, and I finally found it in the e.l.f primer. It's in a solid form and easy to apply, and bonus: it works!
