ten things you don't know about me

Every now and then, I like to talk about myself. I mean, who doesn't? I generally bear my soul on here, and today is no different. Instead of the normal, get to know me, post, I am going to dive a bit deeper and tell you about the ten things that people really don't know about me.

Things like:

one | Currently, my favorite go to song is Jessie J's Masterpiece. It's so empowering and beautiful.

two | I was in band from 6th-10th grade, and played clarinet. No, I didn't go to band camp, but I did get to go on a cruise to the Bahamas. 

three | I may have a cat, but if asked to classify myself- I am a dog person. I love to cuddle, I love the kisses, I love the being covered in fur (not really, but you get the point). 

four | My dream job is to own a nonprofit dog rescue. I am at my happiest when surrounded by barking furry things with four legs.

five | I have a very eclectic taste in music; I know what I like, and don't discriminate or limit myself to one genre. It's normal to see songs from The Offspring, AC/DC, Carrie Underwood, Flo Rida, Train, Fall Out Boy, and Three 6 Mafia on a burned CD in my car. 

six | In my younger years, I was extremely materialistic, but since my son arrived almost six years ago, I have slowly been pulling away from that lifestyle. Sure, I love to shop the Target dollar section, but I don't like labels. I will never wear Gucci, Fendi, or any of those expensive brands. I have limits, and I will never spend $100 on a freakin' shirt.

seven | Depending on my mood, I have a really short temper (I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one) and can get annoyed rather easily.

eight | I am exceptionally sarcastic (I should have a degree in sarcasm) and swear ALOT. I get in my "sailor" moods, and let's just say it's not pretty. But I can hold my own in a bar :)

nine | I am also very opinionated. I don't like to be ignorant on a subject, and will research a topic before hashing out the details with coworkers and friends. 

ten | Besides a finger or toe, I have never actually broken a bone and had to have a cast. #lucky


So I know that I really didn't go all that deep, but I can tell you that these are ten things that not alot of people know about me. But now, you do :)
